Engagement, bridal and wedding photography:

Engagement photography is a low-pressure chance for the couple and wedding photographer to have fun, experiment and get to know each other. Your engagement photos should reflect your personality, playful and relaxed or serious and sensual. We will take a variety of poses at the selected location. If you have a special request, just let us know.

For bridal photography, we have a talent for getting the very best out of our brides and being able to preserve stunning images of you and your dress for years to come. Don’t miss out on your bridal session. The wedding day is a busy time.
Your bridal session allows us to spend quality time for timeless portraits.

We love weddings. They are happy events that bring out the best emotions and reactions. You, your family and friends
are our canvas. Sepia, black and white and touch of color will be added to your final images. Your wedding
photography will outlast your memories. It is our privilege to be selected for your wedding photographers. We provide a combination of formal and candid or photojournalistic images.

Wedding FAQs
How should I choose my wedding photographer?
-This is a special day. You only get one opportunity for great pictures. I believe you should choose a photographer you instantly get along with. You will work very closely with your photographer. For best results you should feel like you can
easily work with them. Concentrating only on price will only get you a cheap photographer. You should have a positive emotional response to the person and their work. Your photographer will capture a lifetime of memories. “Feel” good
about your selection.

What is your style? Will I get both formal group pictures and candid moments?
-Everyone should have the formal poses. Weddings are often the rare time when family is gathered in one place.
However, I urge you to do as many of these as possible before your ceremony. Even if you don’t want to see each other before the ceremony, we can shoot the groom’s family and groomsmen first and then do the bride’s side. Immediately
after the ceremony we will gather everyone together for the full wedding party pictures. Your goal is to get to your
guests and start having fun. This method gets you to your reception as quickly as possible.

I shoot a combination of journalistic and formal pictures. I will show you two pictures of the same wedding. One is the
formal posed picture and one is journalistic style that simply captured in the moment. I love them both, but they are
very different and equally important.

Why are photographers so darn expensive?
-This is an important question. You are not just paying for a picture. You are buying a service that includes the
equipment, expertise, and experience. Don’t think about these important qualities after your wedding! You will be very disappointed. Taking pictures is just one part of the whole process. We spend twice as much time after the wedding as
we do physically on your special day. Significant work goes into wedding photography post production.

What makes you different from other wedding photographers?
-I individually touch each image. It gets cropped, touched up (if needed), and color corrected. You get a finished
quality product not just a snap shot. I have years of photography experience. I know and understand how the camera works and set my camera for the best results possible. I specialize in the attention to details. Be aware of anyone that advertises that you get 700 pictures downloaded to a CD. Because, that is exactly what you are going to get,
everything that was taken and just downloaded from the camera to the disc.

I also have a second photographer that works with me. We both photograph while the bride and groom are getting
ready, both take shots from different angles during the ceremony and both take candid shots during the reception.
I will so select my favorite pictures and convert several to black and white, sepia tone and touch of color. You can
select an additional 10 of your favorites for a special treatment.

How far in advance should you book your wedding photographer?
-The answer is simple “as soon as possible”. Dates fill up very quickly. Spring and Fall are the busiest times of the of the year. We have bookings up to 12 months out. The first step is to call or e-mail about availability for your date.

Should I prepare a list of photographs that I want taken?
-It is always good to think about what important pictures you want. If you would like a list to help jog your memory, we
can provide you with a check sheet. But, the single most important thing you can do is have someone coordinate
getting and keeping everyone gathered. We don’t know who Great Aunt Annabelle is. It is critical that someone that
does insures she is there!

What is your rate for wedding photography?
-There are a variety of packages under my rates tab. Each package has various prices and options. However, I will work
with you to build your own custom package and will provide any quote for special requests to meet your desired level of service.

Do you have a contract?
-We have an agreement document that we would like for you to read carefully and sign. The agreement makes sure
that we are all taking the same language and have the same expectations.

Where are you located and do you charge for travel?
-I am located in Round Rock, Texas. Please call any time for an appointment. We will travel a 30 mile radius around
Austin at no additional travel charge. I charge $50 or each additional 30 miles. I have traveled to other states and for destination weddings. Travel charges include hotel and airfare (if required) for me and a second photographer. If you
are getting married on the beach in Galveston, we will work with you to set a reasonable travel charge.

What type of equipment do you use?
-We use high end Cannon 5D and Cannon 20D digital cameras and high quality lenses. We come prepared with extra flashes, battery packs and extra lenses.

Do you offer albums?
-We have several album options. We can show you samples of our leather bound composite albums. They are simply spectacular. You can add an album to any package at any time.

Do you keep our pictures forever and can we order prints?
-We archive your images. We store your images on CD and on a large media storage computer. Prints are always
available. You may order prints and reprints at any time after the wedding. Please check the rates tab for current
prices. If you desire canvas or larger sizes, just let us know and we will send you a quote. You have two options for
ordering. You can order using our website or you can send us an e-mail with the picture and size you want to order.
We take credit cards only through the website. We provide a discount for orders via e-mail that are paid by check, cash
or money order. Please note that we can not promise to keep your images forever. But, we will have them for along time!

How do I book you?
-After you meet with us and have decided that we are the right photographer for you (we think you will love us – we
enjoy what we do and it shows!) review and sign the agreement and send a $400 deposit. This holds your date and locks
in your prices from future price increases. If you book during your consultation, we will waive your engagement
portrait sitting fee.

How much is extra time if I need it?
-We charge $150 per hour for any time over what is included in the package you select.
